Environmentally Friendly Accreditation

At Pavlos Motel we are always striving to provide for you the comfort you deserve without the impact on the environment. We review our accommodation practices looking for areas of improvement to help protect the environment and undergo regular assessment to achieve the ARRA Environmentally Friendly Accreditation.

We achieve this by:
Majority of lighting is using energy efficient devices
Water saving shower heads
Encouraging reuse of towels
Dual or reduced flushing toilets
No internal or external water leaks
Encouraging guests and staff to recycling
No change options for linen service (linen must be changed every 7 days or per arrival)
Awnings and verandas to protect rooms from exposure to weather
Smoke free in all rooms and adequate ashtrays provided to prevent litter
No paper or plastic bags on glassware
Insulation in ceilings
Recycled office paper and materiels
Central room power cut out
Windows operable for ventilation
Minimal gaps around doors and windows
Provision of specific lighting
Thermostatically controlled cooling and heating
Mulched gardens
Drought resistant plants
